Thank you my friend!

There are some really great people in the world. I am so thankful for those people! You know who I'm talking about!!! The following is for you...there has been a lot of debate of who actually wrote this poem, numerous people have claimed it and I do not have access to the copyright information (if there is any for it). So, I am going to go with the majority and say AUTHOR UNKNOWN -- whomever wrote it, it's beautiful and poignant, good job!

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

In other news....I caught up on Project Runway last night. I cannot stand Gretchen and want her booted off the show. UGH! That means she will be around all season and will probably win.

Now I am gonna go and tackle my room and get it ready for the movers. (The dreaded M word)

So true! I like it!

oooo you are right, I will keep that to myself. She would probably be able to translate and turn around and teach them to me. She is that way, but it is totally helping me with my sailor's mouth! Still have it but no one knows ;)

I wonder if it has the same effect when you swear as it does when I swear. For some reason, people never expect me to swear... so the first time they hear me swear, they're like *gasp!* It's funny. Of course now I try really hard not to swear, since I'm sharing my home with someone young and impressionable... but ya know... her favorite movie is "Step Brothers", so it could already be too late.

I wish...but no, I cuss like a sailor and no one is shocked. They are more shocked when I do not cuss. Doodles is constantly telling me to watch my language. Bad Mommy ALERT :)
